Blogging and Facebook

So blogging. I love writing and I love ranting, so I had to give it a go. I tend to write in a stream of consciousness (hence the title) so tangents may occur. The first time I wrote this (before I deleted it accidentally) I made a comment about reading on the internet and who really does it anymore with audio and video being so readily available in which ever subject one might desire. In retrospect however that was a foolish comment seeing as I'm writing on a blog site and after writing V1 last night went and read some news on CVG.com. My other comment however is well with standing and I will reiterate for your joy or rage.
I recently sorted through my friends list on Facebook in an effort to remove those who either flooding my page with browser game invites, held no interest for me or people with whom I had foolishly accepted an incite in to there at best mediocre lives. (I am aware of the irony that my life is probably no more interesting however I strive for something, some of the people I mentioned previously are content with humdrum.) I know it's not for me to judge what people want to do with their lives however I don't have to have it rammed down my throat when I log in, also if I see another person on Facebook of may age or lower complain about how horrible their life is then I  may scream and go on a murderous rampage! I think by definition of having access to the internet to be able to post on Facebook about how horrible and unbearable your life is, it isn't.
Another thing I don't want to see again is someone telling there boyfriend/girlfriend how much they love them one minute over a public forum then saying how horrible they are the next. The fluctuating relationship status is another reason you may no longer find your self on my list. Single, in a relationship, single, in a relationship, it's complicated. If after two weeks a relationship is complicated then it's over OK! A relationship can be complicated after years if you need to take a break perhaps but if a relationship is truly like this then I doubt you're taking the time to change your relationship status accordingly.
So in conclusion for my first blog the thing I hate most about Facebook is folks thinking that other folks give a shit about them and their lives. Your immediate friends may care but don't add me thinking I will, I don't think you'll care about mine. Don't get me wrong Facebook is a brilliant tool but just because you add lots of friends who you vaguely or don't really know, it doesn't mean that they will give a crap about what's going on with you or your most recent faux pas in town.

Thanks for reading please check back another time.
